Avril Lavigne dikabarkan bakal merilis album barunya pada bulan September mendatang. Sebelumnya, penyanyi asal Kanada ini telah lebih dulu meluncurkan single perdananya, Here's To Never Growing Up.

Kabar itu diucapkan Avril saat diwawancarai oleh Rick Campanelli, reporter ET Canada, Selasa (23/4). Menurut Avril, ia masih harus menyelesaikan lagu untuk melengkapi komposisi album tersebut. Avril menjanjikan akan berbuat 'sesuatu' pada bulan September. Rilis album? Sangat mungkin.

"Aku masih harus menyelesaikan satu lagu lagi yang aku tulis sendiri, karena aku senang melakukannya," tutur Avril. "Itu sangat penting bagiku. Tapi itu semua terjadi begitu cepat dan aku sangat bersemangat," tambahnya.

Single Here's To Never Growing Up telah tersedia di Amerika Serikat saat ini. Sedangkan untuk Inggris, Avril baru akan meluncurkannya pada 30 Juli mendatang.

Avril Lavigne mulai menyiapkan pernikahan keduanya. Kali ini Avril berencana ingin menjalankan semuanya dengan benar serta sesuai dengan harapan. Gadis berusia 28 tahun ini juga ingin pernikahannya dengan pentolan Nickelback, Chad Kroeger, berjalan mulus.

Oleh karena itu, Avril menginginkan gaun pengantin sesuai dengan keinginannya sendiri. Ditanya Chelsea Handler mengenai apa tema gaun pengantin yang akan dipakai kelak, Avril mengaku ingin gaun yang berbeda dari gaun-gaun pada umumnya.

"Aku akan habis-habisan kali ini," kata Avril. "Akan ada temanya nanti (gaun). Aku ingin bersenang-senang dengan itu dan menjadi sedikit agak gila kali ini."

"Seperti memakai gaun yang gila-gilaan dan warna yang tak biasa," kata Avril tanpa memberi banyak petunjuk lagi. Sebelumnya, Avri pernah mengatakan dia ingin mendesain sendiri gaun pengantinnya.

"Sepertinya akan seperti beberapa baju berbeda yang kubeli lalu kusobek-sobek dan menyatukannya kemudian mewarnainya. Aku akan mendesainnya sendiri, atau mungkin bisa berkolaborasi dengan desainer lain," kata Avril waktu itu.
